Wipeout (Swedish Edition)

In the very first sequence we see the animated sequence or the intro. This connotes a younger audience because younger audiences appreciate a little bit of CGI. At the same time there is the music track playing and the track sounds a bit childish, further connoting a younger audience.

We also see the different obstacles that the contestants have to go through during the episode.

We then see the contestants wearing some wacky outfits, this also connotes a younger audience as they will think it is more funny than someone grown up.

Shortly after a sequence of fails and fall of the contestants, we get to see the presenters, both male, in a studio.
One of them is wearing a hat with a Norwegian flag on it and waving a Norwegian flag. He is doing it because he is making fun of Norwegians and that is a very stereotypical thing for Swedish people to do.

We then see a female presenter interviewing the first contestant wondering a bit about what he does for a living etc. This could connote a secondary female audience.

Conventions from Play your Right

Title sequence and theme sequence

The music is jazz which connotes an older target audience, however the CGI connotes a secondary, younger audience. Title sequence provides exposition about the show.

Here we see the presenter talking to a live audience.

Here we see the presenter with some audience interaction with his catchphrase
